Evolution is considered an advancement in science. Personally i don't believe in it, but it's still considered it. Evolution was the idea of people, evolving into what we are today. Supposedly we derived from monkeys, and monkeys evolved into cavemen, which later on evolved into us, there is a bunch of different ideas on how we evolved but that is the most common one. Charles Darwin came up with this theory. It made people completely change their thoughts, it especially was a complete turn around from what everyone was used to with believeing in god and everything.
